Overview
TeardownHQ (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website teardown service available at teardownhq.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data.
We believe in minimal data collection. We only gather what we need to produce and deliver your teardown report, process your payment, and communicate with you about your order.
Information we collect
Intake form data
When you order a teardown, you provide your website URL, a description of your business, your target customer, your conversion goal, and your email address. This information is used exclusively to produce your teardown report and deliver it to you.
Payment information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or banking details. Stripe provides us with a transaction ID and confirmation of payment, which we associate with your order.
Website data
As part of producing your report, we scrape publicly accessible content from the URL you submit. This includes page copy, meta tags, screenshots, and performance metrics. We only access what is publicly visible to any visitor. We do not access your backend, analytics, or any authenticated areas of your site.
Communication data
If you contact us via email, we retain that correspondence to provide support and improve our service.
How we use your data
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Producing your teardown report based on your intake submission
Delivering your completed report to the email address you provide
Processing your payment through Stripe
Sending transactional emails related to your order (confirmation, delivery, follow-up)
Responding to support inquiries
Improving our analysis methodology and service quality
