Once your teardown is complete, you will receive an email notification with your full PDF report attached. The report is also accessible through the delivery link in the email. Turnaround time depends on order volume, but we consistently beat the 24-hour window. If you need a faster turnaround for a specific reason, reach out to support@teardownhq.com before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate.

Question 2

What do I need to provide?

The intake form asks for five things: your website URL, a short description of what you sell, who your target customer is, your primary conversion goal (signups, purchases, demo requests, etc.), and optionally up to three competitor URLs for comparison analysis. The entire form takes about 2 minutes to complete. You do not need to prepare any documents, grant access to any tools, or schedule a call. The more detail you provide about your target customer and what you sell, the more specific and useful your teardown will be.

What if I’m not satisfied?

We offer a straightforward refund policy. If your teardown report does not surface at least 5 actionable issues with your site, we will refund your purchase in full. No forms, no back-and-forth, no hoops. Simply email support@teardownhq.com with your order number, let us know what fell short, and we will process the refund within 48 hours. We stand behind the quality of every report because our methodology is thorough and our standards are high. The vast majority of sites have significant room for improvement, and our reports consistently deliver concrete, implementable findings.

Can I upgrade my tier later?

Yes. After receiving your report, you can upgrade to a higher tier at a discounted rate. Core buyers can upgrade to Pro for $79 (saving $21 compared to buying Pro outright), and Pro buyers can upgrade to Plus for $129 (saving $21 compared to buying Plus outright). You will receive an upgrade link with your report delivery email. When you upgrade, we expand your existing report with the additional analysis sections from the higher tier. There is no need to resubmit your site details or wait another full cycle. Upgrades are typically delivered within 12 hours.

Do you need access to my site or analytics?

No. We analyze your site exactly the way your visitors experience it, from the outside. Our process involves scraping your public-facing pages, capturing full-page screenshots on both desktop and mobile viewports, running Google Lighthouse audits for performance and SEO scores, extracting all visible copy including headings, CTAs, meta tags, and body text, and analyzing your visual hierarchy and layout structure. We do not need admin access, Google Analytics credentials, CMS logins, or any backend access. Everything we evaluate is based on what a first-time visitor sees when they land on your page.

What’s the difference between the tiers?

Core ($49) gives you the TeardownHQ Score, a 1000-point breakdown across six scoring categories, plus a positioning and copy analysis with severity-rated findings. It is a focused health check that tells you where you stand. Pro ($149) unlocks the full conversion audit. You get everything in Core, plus above-the-fold analysis, conversion path and CTA dissection, trust and objection handling review, Google search preview, mobile experience audit, competitor comparison with up to three competitors, and three concrete rewrite directions. Pro is our most popular tier. Plus ($249) adds done-for-you deliverables on top of the full Pro analysis: two ready-to-ship hero section rewrites, a technical SEO audit, and a day-by-day prioritized action plan for the next seven days.

Each dimension is scored as part of a 1000-point system across six categories. The result is a detailed PDF report with severity-rated findings (critical, warning, info), specific recommendations with example rewrites, and a prioritized action plan. This is not a generic template. Every report is built from your actual site data and tailored to your business context.

Can I get a teardown for a specific page, not just the homepage?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can submit any public URL for analysis. While most customers submit their homepage or primary landing page, you can also submit product pages, pricing pages, signup pages, or any other publicly accessible page. Simply enter the specific URL you want analyzed in the intake form. The teardown will focus entirely on that page. If you are running paid traffic to a specific landing page, that is often the best page to submit since it has the most direct impact on your ad spend and conversion rate.

Do you offer ongoing services?

The teardown is a one-time deliverable, not a subscription or retainer. You pay once, receive your report, and implement the changes on your own timeline. However, many customers come back for follow-up teardowns after making changes to measure improvement. Every finding includes a specific recommendation, and many include example copy rewrites showing exactly what to change. Depending on your tier, the report also includes sections for competitor comparison, mobile audit, CTA analysis, trust signal evaluation, search appearance preview, rewrite directions, hero section variants, and a prioritized action plan. Reports typically run 15 to 30 pages depending on the tier and the complexity of your site.
